I’ve got something important to share with you. I’ve been depression free (pretty much) for 2 years.
I still have the odd temporary moments of depression that last a day or so BUT the tools are in place to move forward and get over it.
My energy levels still goes up and down BUT that can mostly be contributed to days when bad habits or poor diet have taken over.
Anxiety attacks are down to a minimum BUT when they show their wicked face I am able to assess the cause, reflect and develop an action plan to grow and change my habits and reactions.
The winter blues are always looming BUT they are losing the battle because my outlook, actions and abilities are focused on positive results.
I’ve got a lot of catching up on life goals and dreams BUT my focus, concentration levels, energy, desire and motivation have increased tenfold so that’s possible now.
There are still things I need to practice and put into place BUT I am now taking action on those things.
I certainly need to fix my finances and repair any past damage in relationships and life BUT I am living in the present to build the future, not holding on to the past.
It’s taken almost 7 years of direct dedication to the issues, causes and solutions. My focus during that time was healing and changing. Creating a new and improved me with the tools to take care of business.
There is hope.
Perseverance pays off.
Commitment and dedication are paramount in your recovery BUT you can do it.
Get your support team and tools in place. Decide you want to beat it. Choose to take action. You owe it to yourself and the people around you. The world can be pretty amazing, it just takes a new perspective to realize.
It’s time for you to have a happy, healthy, prosperous life. It’s possible. Enjoy life – we all deserve that.
