It has been a while since our last lesson from Aesop.
The Hares and The Frogs
The Hares were so persecuted by the other beasts, they did not know where to go. As soon as they saw a single animal at has been a while since our last lesson from Aesop. The Hares and the Frogs "There is always someone worse off than yourself."
If you are reading this, it is likely, you are one of the lucky ones in the world. There is always someone better off than yourself.
That lesson is one I always try to pay attention to.
When I was depressed, it seemed I always thought other people were lucky. I wondered why things were so bad for me. The reality is things were not bad.
It was my perception.
I had put it in my mind and it was solely up to me to realize that it was my job to remove it and be thankful for what I had and where I was. Next time you are feeling badly, consider just how luck you are. There is always someone worse off than yourself.
A change in your outlook will change how you perceive your situation.
